At SC – Car Hire, we are committed to providing quality car rental services. Our Refund and Return Policy ensures transparency, fairness, and a smooth rental experience for all customers.

1. Booking Cancellation Policy

• Free Cancellation:
  Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time are eligible for a full refund.

• Late Cancellation:
  Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pick-up may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total rental cost.

• No-Show:
  If you do not show up at the scheduled time and do not notify us in advance, no refund will be issued.

2. Early Return Policy

• If a vehicle is returned earlier than the agreed rental period, we do not offer refunds for unused days unless pre-approved in writing.

3. Refunds Due to Vehicle Issues

If the rented vehicle has a mechanical issue or fails to operate properly, and it is verified not to be caused by the renter:

• We will provide a replacement vehicle (subject to availability), or

• Offer a pro-rated refund based on the time the vehicle was not in usable condition.

4. Payment & Refund Method

• Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment used during booking.

• Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

5. Non-Refundable Conditions

No refunds will be issued in the following cases:

• Rental termination due to policy violation or illegal use.

• Failure to provide valid documentation (license, ID, etc.) at pickup.

• Booking made under non-refundable promotional offers.

• Fuel, cleaning, toll, or damage-related fees.

6. Changes to Your Booking

• You may request changes to your booking (date, time, vehicle category) at least 24 hours prior to the pickup.

• All modifications are subject to availability and price adjustment.
